ingredients
- 250 grams of kunafa.
- Half a cup of melted margarine.
- Two hundred grams of cream cheese were preserved at normal temperature.
- Three cups of grated mozzarella.
- Egg large size.
- Half a cup of sugar.
- A teaspoon of liquid vanilla.
- Strawberries for garnish.
Ingredients for syrup:
- One and a half cups of sugar.
- Half a glass of water.
- A teaspoon of lemon juice.
- A cup of finely ground pistachios.
Directions
- Install the mesh rack in the center of the oven, then preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
- Prepare a 25cm round oven dish, or you can use any mold close to the specified size, and grease it with a small amount of ghee.
- Put the kunafa in a deep dish, then distribute the ghee, and rub the kunafa with the fingertips, until you absorb the ghee well, taking care not to cut the bristles of the kunafa while rubbing.
- Distribute half the amount of kunafa in the mold, then press it lightly until it forms an even layer.
Preparation of the filler:
- Place the cream cheese, mozzarella, egg, sugar and vanilla in a deep dish, then stir all these ingredients together using a wide plastic spoon.
- Spread the filling over the kunafa layer in the mold, and try to stay 2.5 cm away from the edges so that the filling does not leak during baking.
- Distribute the rest of the kunafa on the filling, and press it to evenly surface the kunafa.
- Put the mold in the oven for half an hour, and take it out when it acquires a golden color.
Prepare the syrup:
- Place sugar, water and lemon juice in a medium saucepan and stir together with a wooden spoon.
- Put the pot on medium heat until the water and sugar boil, and leave the syrup on the fire for five minutes.
- Remove the kunafa from the oven, then turn it over on a serving plate, and distribute the hot syrup on it.
- Decorate the kunafa with pistachios and strawberries, after which it can be served hot or cold as desired.

- Half a cup of sour cream.
- Six hundred grams of cream cheese.
- Two tablespoons of gelatin powder dissolved in a glass of warm Qamaruddin syrup.
Ingredients for jelly Kamaruddin:
- A tablespoon and a half of jelly powder dissolved in three-quarters of a cup of warm Qamaruddin syrup.
Directions
- Spread a layer of kunafa dough in a circular mold, then grease it with melted ghee.
- Bake the kunafa in the oven at 180°C until it becomes crispy and has a golden color.
- Whisk the sugar with the sour cream, and continue whisking until a smooth, creamy mixture is obtained, then add the cream cheese, and the jelly mixture with a continuous whisk, until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the mold over the kunafa disc in the mold, and leave it to cool until the cheese freezes, then put the mixture of jelly Qamar al-Din, and leave it to cool until it becomes rigid, then provide the Kunafa cheesecake, with a pinch of ground pistachios.
