How to prepare bitter lupine
ingredients
- One kilo of instant lupine preparation.
- An amount of salt -as needed-.
- The amount of water for the soaking process.
- Lemon to give a distinctive flavor.
- The amount of cumin to avoid bloating.
- Chili.
Directions
- Purify the amount of lupine prepared from impurities, and remove all damaged lupine kernels.
- Soak the amount of thermos in the amount of water prepared in advance for at least eight hours continuously, in order to restore the amount of water lost by the bitter thermos when dried, in addition to getting rid of all harmful and useless substances.
- Change the amount of water in which the bitter thermos was soaked, and add a new amount of water.
- The soaking process enlarges the size of the thermos from its normal position.
- Bring a deep bowl, add a bitter thermos inside this bowl, and then add an amount of water, taking into account that the amount of water is completely covered for the bitter lupine kernels.
- Put the pot on the fire for a while until the amount of water boils.
- Remove the pot from the fire after boiling.
- Place the bowl under the tap and add a quantity of cold water in order to cool the bitter lupine kernels.
- Leave the amount of thermos for at least twenty-four hours, taking into account placing it under running water every four hours, in order to get rid of the bitter taste, the bitter thermos takes longer than the sweet thermos to get rid of its bitterness, and this time is estimated at a full week to get the delicious taste.
- Remove it from the water, add salt, cumin, chili and lemon juice to it in the quantities desired, and then serve it to eat.
